Mum

Laying in the grass on a June summer day

arms above my head gazing at the sky

birds chirping and the smell of sweat and skin

my mind faiths away

memories

my mum is laying in the grass

holding me tight

gazing at the sky

birds are chirping

the smell of her sweaty skin

just as if it is crying

and it is all still there

the tree in the middle of the garden

where my father used to built us showers with the garden pipe

running through with laughter and wet dripping lashes

the little hut in the corner

the smell of wood and old metal tools

the strawberries near the terrasse

with the taste of my childhood

20 years ago and it is all still there

The clouds have changed, my face has too

the swing is gone

but there is a little child laying in the grass

with the smell of sweaty skin

just as if its crying

20 years later.
